Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features a roof made of Welsh slate and plain tiles, along with brick stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys high with an attic.
The right section of the front has four windows, with three cross windows on the first floor and a six-panel door with a rectangular overlight situated between two large three-light casements on the ground floor. The left bay contains one three-light casement on the first floor and two below it. All windows are fitted with leaded glazing. The roof is slated at the front and includes stacks on both gables, as well as a cluster of three shafts to the left of centre.
At the rear, there is a wing that features a further three-light casement facing left, a large dovecote with a chequer pattern built into the wall, and a stair projection at the angle, which has a tall leaded cross window. The interior has not been inspected.
