Description

South Hill House is a house dating from the 17th century, with an 18th-century facade. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a 20th-century tile roof, along with stone copings and two paired stone stacks at either end. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, plus an attic, with a five-window range. The ground floor includes four sash windows, while the central entrance features a panelled door with a wooden frame and a fanlight above. The porch is supported by Doric columns and has a triangular pediment. The first floor has five sash windows. The interior is noted to have an 18th-century staircase and dado, although it has not been inspected.
