Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a steeply pitched M-shaped wood-shingle roof with brick stacks at the ends. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall, with a three-window range. A 19th-century gabled porch leads to a panelled and glazed door with an overlight, flanked by 20th-century windows. The first floor has imitation wood mullioned and transomed windows, all with wood lintels. At the rear, there are three-light casements on the ground floor and four two-light casements on the first floor, also with wood lintels. Inside, the farmhouse has stone flag floors, a straight flight staircase, and boxed beams.
