Description

This barn, located approximately 0.5 kilometers south of Upper Wardington, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and features a steeply pitched roof made of corrugated asbestos. The gables are stone-coped, and the kneelers have been renewed. There is an entrance for the threshing floor that does not have doors, topped with a wooden lintel. Inside, the barn has a four-bay butt purlin roof, which includes collars, ties, a ridge purlin, and common rafters.
