Description
Bazeley's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from 1699, as indicated by the datestone on the north gable facing the road. The building has undergone 20th-century alterations and is positioned with its gable facing the road. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched roof covered with 20th-century tiles. The farmhouse has a four-unit plan and stands two storeys high with attics, comprising a four-window range. The entrance is located off-centre to the left and includes a four-panelled door with an overlight and a wooden lintel above. On the ground floor, there are wood casement windows with two and three lights, each having chamfered wooden lintels. The first floor contains four casement windows, mostly with three lights, also featuring wooden lintels. A single gabled roof dormer is present, and there is a stone-coped gable on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
