Description
Laurels Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century and has had some alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a steeply pitched roof covered with 20th-century tiles. It has brick stacks at the ridge and ends and is designed in a T-plan. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a two-window range on the elevation that faces the green. On the ground floor, there is a fixed light window with small glazing bars and a wooden lintel, along with two 3-light wooden mullioned and transomed windows, also with wooden lintels. The first floor contains two similar 2-light windows. To the right, there is a single-storey outshot with a raking roof. The entrance is located at the rear of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
