Description
Quarry Farmhouse is a small farmhouse built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from squared coursed ironstone with an ashlar facade, featuring stone and brick end stacks and a slate roof. The gables are stone-coped. The building has a two-unit plan and is designed in the Tudor Revival style, standing two storeys high with a three-window range. The central entrance has a 20th-century door with a pointed arched head, complete with a hood mould and label stops. On either side of the entrance are paired lancet windows, also with hood moulds and label stops. The first floor has three similar windows. All windows are fitted with opening metal casements that have lead cames. Above the door, there is a rectangular stone panel. The interior has not been inspected.
