Description

This is a row of shops dating to circa 1835. Constructed of light brown brick with red dressings, it replaced an earlier 18th-century building that was destroyed by fire around 1830. The building has a slate roof with a coped parapet and four brick stacks on the ridge. There are four flat-headed dormers. The front has eight window openings with recessed glazing bar sashes, and four larger shop fronts with entrances. It is included in the list for group value.
