Description
The front boundary wall, located approximately 30 meters south of the Old Place, is a boundary wall that likely dates from the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed sandstone ashlar with brick behind. The wall features a chamfered plinth and has low curving weathering at the coping stones. The stone ashlar facing includes brick in a stretcher bond behind, with some pilaster-like buttresses. The central gateway is marked by square section piers that have soffit-chamfered caps. This boundary wall is significant as it contributes to the group of listed buildings near the Church of St Mary.
