Description

Netters Hall is an 18th-century house located in Hawkhurst, situated on the southern side of Attwaters Lane. The building is constructed of red brick with a slate roof. It is two storeys tall with an attic, and features a hipped roof with a central, pedimented projection, and chimney stacks to the left and right. A Venetian window is set within the pediment, and there are four glazing bar sash windows to the first floor. The ground floor has glazing bar sash windows to the left and right, with a panelled door positioned to the right of centre. A large multi-pane window occupies the central projection. The unbalanced disposition of the facade may suggest the presence of an earlier structure incorporated into the building. It is divided between the civil parishes of Benenden and Hawkhurst, and is also listed under the Benenden civil parish, where a more comprehensive description is provided.
