Description

Nightingale Cottage is a cottage that likely dates back to the 17th century. It has a timber-framed structure that was refronted in the early 19th century. The exterior is now covered in brickwork on the ground floor and features tile hanging with a bell-cast design on the first floor. The roof is half-hipped and tiled, with an off-center brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and attics in the gable end, with two casement windows. The central entrance has a doorcase with a pedimented hood supported by brackets, leading to a plank door.
