Description
This is a headstone located approximately 2 meters west of the tower of the Church of St Mary the Virgin. It dates from 1757 and commemorates Francis Knell. The headstone is made of sandstone and stands about 200 millimeters high, featuring a shaped top. The front is inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, which notes the death of Francis Knell in 1757.
