Description

1-4 Cumberland Gardens is a terrace of four houses built around 1850. The buildings are constructed of stucco, with a hipped slate roof. They are three storeys high, with a basement level, and each property has two windows, except for number 1, which has three. The original window glazing bars remain intact. Each house features a round-headed doorcase with a semi-circular fanlight above the door. Numbers 2 and 3 have modern ground floor windows. Horizontal stringcourses run between each floor. The four houses are considered to form a notable group.
