Description
Farningham Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is timber-framed and tile-hung, standing on a red brick plinth. The roof is plain tiled, with a half-hipped section to the left and a hipped section to the right. There is a tall red brick chimney stack located off-centre to the right. The building has two storeys and garrets, featuring an irregular four-window front with large 20th-century wood-framed diamond lattice casements. The entrance consists of a boarded and ribbed door, positioned off-centre to the right, which is topped by a flat hood. At the rear, there is a 19th-century outshot and some 20th-century extensions.
