5/238 Illegible headstone approx 6m south east of the chancel of the Church of St Thomas A Becket GV II

Headstone. C18. Upright sandstone slab standing approx lm high. It has a double shaped head carved with winged cherubs heads. The inscription is flanked by vertical friezes of cable design. It is inscribed in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering but is illegible because it is worn and heavily encrusted with lichen.
