Description

This is a headstone dated 1732, located approximately 5 meters south-southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Thomas A Becket. It commemorates Ann Town and is made of upright sandstone, standing about 900 millimeters high. The headstone features a double shaped head, though the front is quite worn. The inscription is in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, but much of it is difficult to read in less than perfect lighting. A clearer part of the inscription notes the death of Ann Town in 1732.
