Description

This is a wall located about 10 metres east of Coggers Hall, dating from the 19th century or earlier. It is made of hammer-dressed sandstone and features wrought iron gates. The wall stands approximately 3 feet high and extends around 30 metres along the roadside, returning at the left end to form a retaining wall for the River Teise. The right end of the wall is truncated, and there are low saddled piers at the central gate. While it has a 19th-century appearance, the wall may have much older origins.
