Description
Glen Albion, Sussex House, and Sussex Place are three early 19th-century houses located on The Pantiles. They are three storeys tall and feature stucco exteriors, with the ground floor having a rusticated finish. Each house has a parapet with stone coping and a string course above each floor. There are three windows on each house, most of which retain their original glazing bars. The doorcases have six-panel moulded doors topped with segmental fanlights. Sussex House, numbered 61, has a higher elevation than the others, projects forward, and boasts a fine cast iron balcony on the first floor. These houses, numbered 45 to 61, are part of a group that includes Nos 21 to 31a, as well as Nos 2 to 28 and Nos 38 to 72, forming another group.
