Description

This is an 18th-century farmhouse. The ground floor is painted brick, while the upper storey is tile-hung. It has a tiled roof and a brick chimney. Five sash windows with intact glazing bars are present. The farmhouse is situated on a hillside and stands significantly above the garden level. A wooden Tuscan porch, accessed by a flight of steps with a handrail, provides entrance. Smockham Farmhouse is part of a group that also includes the barns.
