Description
Harbour Farmhouse is an 18th-century building constructed of brown brick with a pantile roof that is hipped at the west end. The east end features a tumbled brick gable. The farmhouse has two storeys and attics, with an L-shaped plan that includes a lean-to extension at the angle. The front elevation displays four cased sash windows on the first floor and one on the ground floor. There are two mid-19th century wooden canted bay windows with sashes and moulded cornices. The entrance is marked by a door set in a wooden Tuscan frame.
An attic granary is present, featuring planked doors in the east gable. The west elevation has one ground floor cased sash window, a planked loading door on the first floor, and a small door leading to the attic granary, with both of the latter doors having contemporary cast-iron hinges. A low two-storey extension includes two planked doors on the first floor and one on the ground floor. Inside, the staircase is notable for its mid-18th century slender vase-shaped balusters.
