Description

ST AUGUSTINE'S GATE 1. 5266 (West Side) No 1 TA 1828 NE 1/18 II 2. Early or mid C19. Brown brick. Pitched slate roof. Two storeys. One cased sash on 1st floor. Good shop front (c.f. No 21 St Augustine's Gate, and No 9 Souttergate), framed by reeded pilasters with horizontally fluted consoles to entablature: bowed window with contemporary glazing bars and glass, apron with incised panels: 2 doors with oblong fanlights and moulded transoms, one with 6 fielded panels, one with 2 fielded panels, top half glazed with contemporary marginal glazing bars.
