Description
21 St Augustine's Gate is an early to mid-19th century building constructed of colour-washed brick, topped with a pitched pantile roof and featuring a bracketed eaves cornice. The building stands two storeys high and has three cased sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor showcases a double bowed shop front, which includes reeded pilasters that support horizontally fluted brackets leading to a fascia. The shop front also has incised panels on the aprons and a door with two moulded panels, the top half of which is glazed with contemporary glazing bars. The side door features six moulded panels and a fanlight with glazing bars, all set within a moulded frame topped with a triangular pediment.
