Nos 54 and 56 on Sheriff Highway are early 19th-century buildings with a later rebuilt first floor. They are constructed of brown brick and feature a pitched pantile roof. The buildings are two storeys high, with two sash windows on the first floor and two sliding sashes with glazing bars on the ground floor.
