Description

This is a partially surviving oasthouse located approximately 45 meters northwest of Postern Park Farmhouse, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features red brick construction, including some burnt headers, and has a peg-tile roof. The structure consists of two hop kilns, which are circular in plan and topped with tall conical roofs, each adorned with a brick dentil cornice. The stowage and a third hop kiln have been demolished. These hop kilns are significant as they are part of a well-preserved farmyard group that remains unconverted to domestic use, associated with Postern Park.
