Nos 5 and 6 Grove Hill Gardens are early 19th-century houses that stand four storeys tall and are finished in stucco. They feature a cornice and a parapet, with each house having a curved bay that extends through all floors. The elevation facing Claremont Road includes two sash windows for each house, one of which is located in a projecting side wing. This side wing has a triple sash window that is topped with a pedimented cornice on the first floor. Nos 1 to 12 Grove Hill Gardens form a group.
