It features a timber frame clad in weatherboarding and has a tiled roof with a brick chimney stack at the right end. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows with 16-pane sashes. The central entrance has a doorcase with a flat hood supported by brackets, and the door itself is a four-fielded panelled design. On the right side of the cottage, there is a cross-shaped iron tie and a 20th-century extension on the ground floor.
