Description
This is an oasthouse located about 25 metres south-east of East Heath, dating from the mid-19th century. It features red brick and weather-boarding, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has a two-storey stowage section with a hipped roof, which includes three wooden casements and loft boarded doors on both the left and right sides, along with a lucarn and an iron hoist-bracket. The ground floor is open and arcaded on wooden posts, with part of it underbuilt to the left in red brick, featuring a rib and stud door and a wooden casement. To the right, there is a catslide outshot with top-hung casements on each floor. The left end has two roundels with rendered roofs and wooden cowls. At the rear right, there is a single-storey wing that includes boarded doors and a wooden casement, along with a gabled louvre at the end. This oasthouse is included for its group value.
