Description

The mounting block, located about 20 metres north of the Church of St. Margaret, dates from the 17th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features sandstone slab treads along with a mounting stone. The structure includes a simple flight of four steps leading to the top slab, which stands approximately 3 feet high.
