Description

There are two railed chest tombs located about 15 metres south west of the Church of St Lawrence. The first tomb is for Mary Collingwood, who died in 1840. It is sarcophagus-shaped and features splayed fluted corner piers and raised inscription panels, topped with a stepped slab. The enclosure has a fleur-de-lys design and is supported by principals with urn finials. The second tomb is identical and commemorates Louisa Brode Springett, who died in 1842, along with a matching railed surround.
