Description
The Old Vicarage is an early 19th-century house. It is built of rendered material with a slate roof, and incorporates a rear wing constructed of red and blue brick. The house is two storeys high and features a plat band and an eaves cornice to the hipped roof, with stacks located to the left and right. The windows are regularly placed, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two tripartite glazing bar sashes on the ground floor. A central half-glazed door is set within a porch with engaged Doric columns, a triglyph frieze, and moulded steps, and is surmounted by a traceried rectangular fanlight. A recessed hipped wing extends to the rear right. The main block features a semi-circular headed stair window with a margin light, and has hipped rear and return elevations. The left return elevation displays three glazing bar sashes to each floor.
