Description

Forge Cottage is a 18th-century cottage that was originally part of a pair. The ground floor is made of coursed, dressed stone, while the first floor is weatherboarded. It features a coved cornice beneath a plain tiled roof, which has two hipped dormers and end stacks. The gables are tile-hung. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two windows that have diamond lattice casements. There are two central boarded and ribbed doors, each topped with a single flat hood supported by three brackets.
