Description

Wellington is an 18th-century cottage built of random rubble stone, featuring rusticated red brick quoins and red brick dressings. It has boarded eaves and a plain tiled valley roof, which includes a single unusual dormer on the right side and an end stack also on the right. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic and has two casement windows. The central first floor has a small oblong recessed panel above a modern glazed door. This building is noted as a good example of a modest domestic structure of traditional regional style.
