Description

Barton’s Cottages is a row of six cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of coursed rubble stone with a plain tiled hipped roof and three ridge stacks. The cottages have two storeys and six windows, originally containing glazing bar sashes, some of which now swing. The doors are boarded, except for the entrance to the sixth cottage, which has a half-glazed door. A lean-to addition extends from the left-hand end of the row. The cottages are included in the listing for group value only.
