Description
Court Lodge Farmhouse is a hall house that dates back to the 15th century and has undergone significant restoration and alterations. The building features exposed timber framing with plaster and brick infilling, and part of the first floor is tile-hung. The front has overhangs at both ends, supported by exposed joists and brackets, with the right side partly concealed by a 19th-century tiled porch on wooden supports. The roof is steeply hipped and tiled, with a catslide at the rear and two ridge stacks. The farmhouse has two storeys and an irregular arrangement of windows, which include some 19th-century casements. Behind the porch, there is a door with a wooden four-centred arch moulded surround, likely from the 16th century. Inside, there is a carved crown-post in the roof.
