Description
North Lodge to Roydon Hall is a gate lodge built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building has an L-shaped layout and stands two storeys tall. On the west side, there is a three-bay verandah with a lean-to sloping roof. At the north end, there is a one-storey addition. The south front has a returned gable on the left, which is adorned with decorated barge boards, a pendant, and a finial, along with a canted bay beneath it. To the east, there is a half-hipped wing, and the west end has two semi-dormers. Throughout the lodge, there are casement windows.
