Description

The Golding Tomb, located 20 yards southeast of the chancel of Ditton Church, is a chest tomb dated 1821. It is made of stone and features a wide stopped plinth that supports the chest tomb, which has panelled sides and corners adorned with traceried panels. Surrounding the tomb is a wrought-iron railing with spear-head rails and vase-head standards. The tomb is inscribed to William Golding, who died in 1821.
