Description

These railings and gates, located 10 yards north of Sudbury House, date from around 1825. They consist of a pair of cast-iron gates featuring spearhead dog-rails, a lotus head bowed upper rail, and panelled box-piers. The gates are adorned with anthenion and fret motifs and are topped with anthenion acroteria. The entrance is flanked by quadrant red brick walls that are capped with railings matching the gates, along with brick piers that have pyramid caps.
