Description

The former stables located at the rear of the Bear Hotel in West Malling are a 18th-century structure that was altered in the mid 19th century. The building is primarily constructed of stone rubble with stone galleting and features an old peg-tiled roof. The northwest front includes two mid 19th-century casement windows, one 12-pane mid 19th-century sash window, and a casement window with marginal glazing. There are also 20th-century garage doors present. The southeast front showcases three cambered casements. At the time of the survey, the building was derelict.
