Description
No. 107 High Street is a shop and house dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a renewed plain-tiled roof with a brick chimney stack at the rear. It consists of two parallel ranges, is two storeys high, and has two windows. The parapet is topped with stone coping.
The front façade includes two mid-19th century canted bay windows. The space between the first floor windows has a stuccoed panel and an attached 20th-century cast-iron lamp on brackets. The ground floor showcases a central open pediment adorned with paterae, reeded console brackets, and pilasters with panelled reveals. The entrance features a six-panelled door, with the top four panels being glazed. The rear elevation has two 12-pane sash windows.
