Description

The Bower House is a house that possibly dates back to the 16th century but was refronted in the 18th century, with a garden elevation from the 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tiled roof, a ridge stack, and additional stacks, along with four gabled dormers. The garden elevation has two return gables that flank a small central timber-framed section. The main elevation has two storeys and an attic, with four windows that are glazing bar sashes. There is a 20th-century projecting tiled weather-porch, and later additions are present on the right-hand end.
