Description

Chequers is a former public house dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a hipped roof with end stacks. The building has two storeys and a four-window front, which includes glazing bar sashes. Notably, there is a canted bay window in place of the second window from the right on the ground floor. There are two doors to the left of the canted bay and one door to the right.
