Description

Stone House is an early 19th-century house built of coursed yellow stone blocks with a random rubble plinth, ashlar quoins, and a band. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has a heavily moulded eaves cornice supported by brackets. The front of the house has three window bays. The windows are sash windows, originally without glazing bars and set within segment-headed openings. The right-hand windows on the ground floor have been replaced by a 20th-century shop window. A central half-glazed and panelled door is set within a moulded door surround with an entablature supported on console brackets.
