Description
Nos 145 and 147 on High Street is a mid-19th century office building featuring three storeys and an attic, constructed of brick with white stone detailing. It is designed in a flamboyant Perpendicular Gothic style. The building has four main window bays, with the left bay projecting on the first and second floors, supported by two fan brackets and adorned with decorated panels between the windows, topped by battlements. To the left is a four-centred arched carriage door, with a small central door and a main entrance to the right, also featuring a four-centred arch. The windows are mullioned with casements, and there are double bands between all floors. The attic gable over the two left bays has Gothic, Perpendicular style panels and a small parapet. The roof is slate, and there is a tall stack on the right.
