Description

Lucknow is a house built around 1840, constructed of brick in Flemish bond with a slate roof and end brick chimneystacks. The right side elevation features diaper brickwork. The building has three storeys and three windows, arranged in two parallel ranges. The first floor includes 9-pane sash windows set in moulded architraves with rubbed brick voussoirs, while the lower floors have 12-pane sash windows also with rubbed brick voussoirs. A brick stringcourse runs along the façade. The left side displays a heavy stuccoed doorcase with a flat hood supported by brackets, a rectangular fanlight, and a six-fielded panelled door. There are attached spear railings on a low brick wall.
