Description
Milverton House is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of brown brick and features a tiled roof with end brick chimneystacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with three windows across the front. It has a modillion eaves cornice and two flat-roofed dormers in the attic. The windows are 16-pane sashes set in moulded architraves. The central doorcase is notable for its tall cornice, console brackets, pilasters, rectangular fanlight, and a six-fielded panelled door. The rear elevation includes one flat-roofed dormer. Attached to the rear is a gabled weatherboarded building that has one window, with a pivoting casement in the attic and a casement on the first floor. The interior reportedly contains period cupboards and niches.
