Description
The Cosling memorial, located about 26 metres north of the west wall of the chancel of the Parish Church of St John, is an early 20th-century memorial made of cast iron. It features a freestanding tablet topped with a draped urn. The upper corners of the tablet are adorned with bulbous finials, and at the base, it is supported by three short balusters that have scrolls on the left and right. This memorial commemorates William Cosling, who died in 1908. It is noted for being an unusual cast iron memorial.
