Description

Nos 3 and 5 Cecil Square are two-storey buildings dating from around 1769. They are constructed of red brick and feature a parapet. Each building has four sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. The shop fronts date from the 19th century. These buildings were intentionally kept to two storeys to preserve the sea view for the Georgian Assembly Rooms that were formerly located opposite. Nos 1 to 5 (odd) and Nos 6 to 15 (consecutive) form a group.
