Description

No 1, Cecil Square is a building dating from around 1769. It is two storeys tall and constructed of red brick, featuring a parapet. The façade includes four sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. On the ground floor, there are two Venetian windows, with the heads of the centre lights blocked. The entrance has a doorcase with pilasters, an open pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panelled door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 5 (odd) and Nos 6 to 15 (consecutive).
