Description

Nos 8 to 10 on New Street are an early 19th-century terrace building that stands two storeys high with a basement and attics. The structure is made of brown brick and features a slate mansard roof with six dormers. It has six sash windows with intact glazing bars and stone cills. There is a rainwater head present. On the ground floor, each unit has a three-light curved bow window and simple round-headed doorcases with fanlights, leading to six-panelled doors. This terrace, along with Cecil Square Baptist Church and the Sunday School, forms a notable group in the area.
