Description

This is a tomb chest dedicated to Elizabeth Biggs, who died in 1811, and Thomas Grundy, who died in 1816. It is located about 30 metres north of the Church of St. George in Ramsgate. The tomb chest is made of stone and features a simple base leading to a plinth. The side piers have incised panels, and the side panels are fielded with chamfered corners. At the top, there is a simple, heavy slab.
